Once again we were happy to be invited to collaborate with a local primary school to do scenography for the yearly theatre play. Our kindred spirits in these projects are the main teacher Josefina Carvalho and the teacher and musical enthusiast João Campinas. Teacher Josefina is the driving force behind these projects and a firm believer in the importance of the arts and sense of community in the education and lives of young children.

The project involved not only teachers and students but also artists, a theatre company, members of local community groups and the support of the local parish and city councils.

With only cardboard, paint and glue at hand I think we made some magic happen, among other things bringing to life a walking talking giant.
