Before we all pause for Christmas and New Year, the fourth session of the Human Figure Drawing course focused on the observation of hands and feet.

The hand is a complex and very expressive part of the body. By becoming aware of and familiar with its elements and their inner dynamic, the student can draw any pose and gesture with ease. Then, we realize that what seemed so familiar is ever new, and in that moment our pursuit to represent it becomes more genuine, and our drawing comes alive.
